Bizi bu güzel kareyle buluşturan İsmail Kaplan’a teşekkür ederim.
Peki bu fotoğrafa baktığında sende hangi duyguyu uyandırıyor? Tek kelimeyle anlatacak olsan bu ne olurdu?
Yorumlarda buluşalım.
Sevgilerimle,

Sometimes a Photograph Reminds Us How Simple Happiness Can Be
Hello,
A piece of bread, a small hand willing to share, and lives gathering around it… No plans, no rush, no life postponed to “later.” Just a moment being lived — and the genuine happiness within it.
Today, many of us try to make happiness bigger. More of it, something better, something that will come later.
Yet sometimes the real challenge is not making it bigger, but simply noticing it. Because life often appears before us in its simplest form.
While serving as a jury member for the “Live Today, Today” Photography Contest organized by QNB Sigorta, I had the chance to see many remarkable photographs. Each one told a different story. But some photos do more than capture a moment — they remind us of the feeling within that moment.
This was one of them. When you look at it, you see a very familiar scene, yet it also reminds us of something that is gradually fading from our lives: the ability to simplify, to share, and to truly stay in the moment.
These are often the very things we postpone without even realizing it in the rush of daily life. Yet what makes a moment valuable is not its scale, but the sincerity it carries.
This photograph also reminded me of the value of small but meaningful realizations. Because living life fully often comes not from big changes, but from noticing the moment, sharing it, and truly being present.
Perhaps this is exactly where living in the moment begins: when we stop trying to make what we have bigger and simply allow ourselves to feel the moment we are in.
My sincere thanks to İsmail Kaplan for sharing this beautiful frame with us.
What feeling does this photograph evoke in you? If you were to describe it in one word, what would it be?
Let’s meet in the comments.
Warm regards,
Pınar Kuriş
